Compliance 101 training focuses on how to qualify and certify residents for Agency properties. The HUD 4350.3 manual is used as the basis for determining eligibility. We will discuss Agency specific procedures and requirements, such as industry updates and compliance monitoring. The training explains what is counted and excluded from income when qualifying applicants and re-certifying residents. The session also covers what to expect during a monitoring review or physical inspection and how to avoid an 8823. We will also review physical inspection standards and learn how to document eligibility to avoid costly mistakes and practice new skills.
