RALEIGH—A groundbreaking ceremony will be held for Sawmill Village in Burnsville on October 30, hosted by the Northwestern Regional Housing Authority. Sawmill Village will provide 26 new, affordable homes for people facing housing insecurities, with six of the homes set aside for people with disabilities.

Developed by Northwestern Housing Enterprises, Inc., Sawmill Village was financed in part by dollars from the State Housing Trust Fund disbursed by the NC Housing Finance Agency.
